Rachel's Bar & Restaurant

While Barbados undoubtedly offers an extensive range of dining options, Rachel’s Bar & Restaurant at the Savannah Beach Hotel offers a unique cultural dining experience which has bestowed it a special place in the hearts of visitors and locals alike.
The restaurant is but one hallmark of this beautiful property, which is set in the World Heritage-designated Garrison Savannah area, a mere seven minutes from historic Bridgetown.
History certainly abounds at the Savannah Beach Hotel as the name Rachel’s was inspired by that of the infamous Barbadian slave-turned-hotelier Rachel Pringle. The ever-present historic feeling is a reminder of the deeply embedded richness of culture that pervades the property.

Rachel’s offers an authentic and enjoyable combination of history, island life, and culinary delights. Its open-air setting, complemented by the building’s coral stone walls and traditional jalousie louvers, offers a breathtaking elevated view of the hotel’s lushly landscaped meandering pools that lead straight into the Caribbean Sea.
